Dear colleagues, researchers and students from academia and industries, we are very pleased to invite you to the XXIII National Congress on Catalysis-GIC2023 “Catalysis as a golden lighthouse for green chemistry and energy related technologies”, held in Genova (Italy), 14-16th June 2023.
The event is organized jointly by the Interdivisional Group of Catalysis and by the Universities of Venice and Genoa and will be held in the S.Salvatore church, in the very center of Genoa old town, close to the New Streets and the system of the Rolli Palaces which is Unesco patrimony.
In the contemporary world, catalysis is indeed a “lighthouse”, namely a key technology that impacts on the optimization of resources and energy production and consumption, on green chemistry processes and on the production of innovative materials.
To fulfil such ambitious aims, a multidisciplinary approach is necessary. We believe that the GIC2023 meeting will be a great occasion to discuss new ideas, fostering at the same time collaborations among research groups and between industrial and academic components in a friendly, welcoming ambience.
